European Schoolnet (EUN)

European Schoolnet (EUN) is a network of 30 Ministries of Education in Europe and beyond. EUN was created 15 years ago with the aim to bring about innovation in teaching and learning to its key stakeholders: Ministries of Education, schools, teachers and researchers.

EUN’s activities are divided among three areas of work:
Policy, research and innovation
Schools services
Learning resource exchange and interoperability

EUN is a keystone of European initiatives to stimulate young people's interest in studies and careers in the area of maths, science and technology (MST). It established Xplora and Scientix, two major European portals for teachers that provide tools, resources and materials for science education. EUN also runs regular campaigns and competitions on a range of topics such as e-skills, earth and space science, sustainable development, energy, environment, health, nanotechnologies, chemistry and materials.
